This is the first piece I created during lockdown. The majority of my prints are made using the reduction method, but in this one I used two different pieces of lino. I created the darker detailed elements (the 'key') first, printed it onto perspex so that I could reprint it onto the other piece of lino. This meant I could carve the coloured layer so that they would match up.
The scene is from the side of a road next to the hedgerow that divided two fields. I believe it was near Burstall in Suffolk.
It measures 13 x 30cm and is an edition of 10.
